Grades 6-12: Are you a teen artist looking to learn a new aesthetic or medium? Join us for Art Lab to learn some new techniques!

Create a mini zine that features your art, story, comic, poetry, or short essay.  You can work solo or with a friend as your co-creator.  Mini Zines are a simple, analog way to share your creations with others.  After everyone has created their zines, we'll make photocopies for participants to exchange or give to friends.

This program is intended for teens. Register for all programs on our Events page, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling the branch. In an effort to be courteous to our presenters, audience members, and waitlisted registrants:

  • Register all attendees
  • Please arrive prior to the program’s start time.  Registering for a program will not hold your seat after the program’s designated start time
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration online or by calling the branch

The Shawnee Branch boasts quite a large collection of Spanish language materials. Attention all future cooks and restauranteurs: young children love to "cook" in our play kitchen area.
