In this program, Courtney Pinkard from the Alabama Department of Archives and History will provide a very quick introduction to Alabama's history as a state, then give a brief overview of ADAH's history as an agency before diving into the resources available through the Archives for genealogical research, both remote and on-site.
Courtney Pinkard is the Reference Coordinator at the Alabama Department of Archives and History. A graduate of the University of South Alabama and The University of Alabama’s School of Library and Information Studies, Mrs. Pinkard joined the ADAH reference team in November 2017. She assists researchers in the EBSCO Research Room and also conducts genealogical workshops virtually and at libraries around the state.
