Archivists will also share an introduction to the Rhode Island State Archives, how its collection is the perfect stop for your research, and how we can help YOU both in-person or on-line. Presented by Rich Hite & Ashley Selima.
Rich Hite is State Records Coordinator at the Rhode Island State Archives and Public Records Administration. He has a B.A. in history and political science, an M.A. in Archives Management, and an M.A. in history. He is the author of three books, including Sustainable Genealogy: Separating Fact from Fiction in Family Legends.
Ashley Selima (CA) serves as State Archivist & Public Records Administrator. Ashley holds a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science, and a Master's Degree in Public Administration. As a native Rhode Islander, Ashley is passionate about connecting Rhode Islanders to their local history, cooking, and her chickens.
