Join us for a FREE, virtual program on July 22nd at 6:30 p.m. EDT!
This presentation asks genealogy researchers to take a step further in understanding their ancestors’ lives by constructing context through manuscript collections. Using case studies from the collections at the Indiana Historical Society, archivist Maire Gurevitz will help attendees open up their senses to perceive their ancestors’ daily experiences.
Maire Gurevitz is an Archivist at the Indiana Historical Society, where she processes collections, mentors future professionals, and always wishes she had more time to read and write about the historical Hoosiers she meets along the way. She is a graduate of Butler University and Indiana University.
