A fun one-hour introduction to computer science.
The hour of code is designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. You decide what tutorial to start and our maker lab guide will assist you. There are up to 172 one hour interactive tutorials designed for ages 8 to 15. It helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity. Maximum participants 4.
The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
