Koinobori are carp streamers that are traditionally flown in Japan to celebrate Kodomo no hi or Children’s Day on May 5th every year. Celebrate Asian/Pacific Heritage Month by making your own Koinobori!
For anyone who loves to make art or wants to try something new, Make Art introduces a fun art process and gives you the chance to try it out.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
