Searching and reading a will in England and Wales can be a challenging maze. This presentation will give the researcher the basics on where and how wills were produced from the Middle Ages until the 20th century, and where they might now be archived. It will also explain what to expect in an English probate record and how they might differ from their American cousins. Internet access will also be discussed.
