Design and 3D print your own dinosaur egg that has a secret compartment inside!
Come to the Studio at Shawnee and design and print a dinosaur egg! Learn how to use the 3d modeling program Tinkercad to add a secret compartment to your egg, then slice and print it using Prusa slicer and our Prusa MK4S 3d printers! Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
