Is the media you're consuming real or artificial? Join us as we dissect AI-generated content and discuss its utility.

Often times, we are unaware that the photos and videos we view are AI-generated. Consider your favorite YouTube Shorts channel, or your favorite Facebook Reels account-- Are they made by real people? AI is embedded into many current and emerging technologies. When used correctly, it is a powerful tool.

In this presentation-style program, we will discuss the dangers and helpfulness of AI. We'll learn how to vet content; double-check our web searches and identify media for legitimacy. We will learn how to avoid AI and how to utilize it to our benefit-- viewing many different and popular media, trying our hand at identifying real vs. fake content, and discussing the different types of AI that exist.

This program is intended for adults. Space is limited; register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we'd love to help.
