Explore the basics of 3D printing and journey through the process of digital design to finished printed project using TinkerCAD and the Studio's Prusa Printers.
Come to the Studio at Hessencassel to learn about designing 3D Models on TinkerCAD Software, using 3D Slicer Software, and printing on a 3D printer, while creating your own unique design on an earbud holder with templates provided by the Studio. Patrons will learn to use Tinkercad to design their own earbud holder. TFamiliarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
