Come to the Studio at Main to learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop! In this hands-on program participants will follow along on their own computer while staff lead through editing various provided photos to learn the tools and menus of Photoshop. This session starts with exploring Photoshop's menus and layout which will helps as the program moves into using the tools to fix blurs, blemishes, and damage to old photos. Staff will then go through fixing lighting and color through a variety of ways. No prior photo editing or Adobe experience is required. This program is a great way to start using Adobe Creative Cloud programs. Program is limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for 7th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
