Join us to make a mixed media collage art masterpiece using upcycled paper, stickers, fabric and more!
Does your child enjoy cutting and gluing? Do they wish they could tear out the images they see in books and magazines? If so, join us for Mixed Media Collage Art, where they will have the opportunity to practice these skills to their heart’s content while creating something unique! We will utilize upcycled materials like old magazines, fabric scraps and vintage book pages alongside fun, new materials like stickers to create our mixed media masterpieces. All supplies provided. This program is intended for K-3rd grade and 4th-6th grade children. It may be suitable for preschoolers if they are able to use scissors or enjoy tearing paper.

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
