Learn how to do an elegant yet often-overlooked traditional needlework technique. No prior sewing experience required.

Celebrate Women’s History Month through a hands-on exploration of an elegant yet often-overlooked needlework tradition. Make a simple piece of huck embroidery/Swedish weaving using simple stitches and wide threads. This program will look at the beauty, history, and meditative rhythm of this traditional craft while reflecting on the artistry and resilience of women who came before us.

This program is intended for adults. Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
