Grades 7th-12th: Create vibrant collages using bold paper and sewing materials as expressions of personal and cultural identity.

Create vibrant, colorful collages using bold paper, sewing patterns, and sewing notions in a program inspired by Derrick Adams’s "Packaged Black" series. His art explores how fashion and self-styling communicate personal and cultural identity. You'll engage with these themes by designing unique collage pieces that reflect your stories and creativity

This program is intended for teens. Space is limited; register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
