Learn how to use the Cricut Autopress in the ACPL Studios while making your own tote bag!
Come to the Pontiac Branch to learn about using the Studio's Cricut Autopress. Learn to operate the Cricut Autopress after learning a little background about hot to create a Heat Transfer Vinyl design. Then, you can make your own book-themed tote! Limited to 12 participants.
This program was designed for 6th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in 6th grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
