Make the most of a workout while embracing the beautiful obstacles of new motherhood! A yoga class to breathe, move and bond with baby.
Join us for a yoga workout, with learning and sharing of parenting experiences in a group setting! This program is designed for babies up to 24 months with their caregiver. Participants are welcome to bring a mat or towel for yoga, but it is not required.
Benefits of Mom & Me Yoga:
-Attendees will learn basic yoga principles, controlled breathing and mindfulness.

-Starting happy and healthy habits early in childhood
-Decrease or prevent postpartum depression and mood disorders
-Build core strength to prevent injuries from lifting and carrying children
Led by Stephanie Nix, a Labor & Delivery RN, certified yoga instructor with extra certifications in
prenatal and postnatal fitness, and a Doula. Stephanie has a clear passion for motherhood and movement
all tied into one.

The Dupont branch, one of the largest and busiest branches, is located in a bustling shopping center in the ever-growing northwest part of the county. In addition to storytimes four days a week, it offers a wide variety of programs for children, teens, and adults.
