Join the ACPL Genealogy Center team for a friendly, hands-on introduction to family history research—right from your neighborhood branch. Learn a simple five-step process, see quick demos of records you can search (census, vital, newspapers), and discover how to use PERSI to uncover local gems. You’ll leave with a one-page research plan, a starter citation guide, and the know-how to keep going from home. Bring a name and an approximate date/place to explore. All levels welcome.

About the library

The Dupont branch, one of the largest and busiest branches, is located in a bustling shopping center in the ever-growing northwest part of the county. In addition to storytimes four days a week, it offers a wide variety of programs for children, teens, and adults.
