Inspired by Steve Inskeep’s book Differ We Must (2023), join Senior Lincoln Librarians Abbie Meek and Jessie Cortesi of the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research at the Allen County Public Library on Zoom as they explore choices that shaped a nation and discuss President Abraham Lincoln’s leadership navigating the country through an unprecedented civil war. Tune in to check out related artifacts in the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection and learn more about Differ We Must, ACPL’s featured book in its “One County, One Book” initiative ahead of Inskeep’s visit to ACPL on October 9 to present the 2025 annual McMurtry Lecture sponsored by the Friends of the Lincoln Collection of Indiana, the ACPL Foundation, and Friends of the Library.
