Come to the Studio atMainto learn about using the Glowforge Laser Printer. In this introductory program, we will teach you about what the Glowforge is, how to use it, and what kinds of projects you can accomplish with it. After learning about the machine overview, we will dive into creating personalized nightlights! Participants will use the Glowforge design software to create an image that will ultimately be engraved into a clear sheet of acrylic, which will eventually be illuminated by an LED light base. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended prior to attending this program. Limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program.
