Join us at the library as we utilize upcycled bits and bobs to create colorful, custom necklaces!

For this Upcycled Jewelry program intended for K-3rd grade and 4th-6th grade children, we will utilize a variety of interesting objects such as metal washers, wooden beads, plastic caps, and cardboard pendants to make our own unique necklaces. In the process, you just may gain inspiration for turning other "trash" into wearable art! Make sure to wear your play clothes, as we will utilize paint and other messy mediums. All supplies will be provided, and participation is limited to 20 participants.

About the library

Monroeville is a recommended rest stop by Adventure Cycling. Each summer around 70 cross-country cyclists from many different countries visit Monroeville, with many visiting the library to use our WIFI. Customers from the surrounding area enjoy the branch’s Large Print collection, Scooby-Doo DVDs, and their Monroeville-focused genealogy collection.
