Desirée Funston is a reference and genealogy librarian at Missoula Public Library and the president of the Montana State Genealogical Society. She has lived in Montana all her life, with six generations before her. She and her husband live in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley with two cats and twelve chickens. She enjoys hiking, gardening, knitting, reading, and of course, researching her family history.
