The Ozobot Evo is a mini robot that you can program in one of two ways: 1) by using colored markers, or 2) by utilizing block coding from a computer. In this program you will be introduced to the hardware and robotic components of the Ozobot Evo. You will learn the basics of operating the Ozobot Evo including turning it on/off, and calibrating it, and then venture into blockly coding to program and control your robot. Students will learn how to navigate through Ozobot Blockly, program simple block-based code, and run the code on their Ozobot so it will move! Program is limited to 10 participants.
This program was designed for 4th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Studio. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
