Layered Shadowbox

Intermediate Electric Cutting

Already familiar with Cricut Maker machines? Join us in build on your existing Cricut knowledge and create your own custom layered paper shadowbox.

Come to The Studio at Hessen Cassel to learn new skills in Cricut Design Space and using the Cricut Maker 3 to prep, create your own custom shadowbox by cutting and layering paper designs. This is an Intermediate Cricut Program. It is highly recommended participants have familiarity with Cricut Maker machines and Cricut Design Space, or have attended an ACPL Intro to Electric Cutting Program prior to attending this program. All supplies provided. Limited to 6 participants. 

This program was designed for 7th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Studio. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program. 

Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

About the library

Situated on the edge of a busy city neighborhood and within easy driving distance of farms and country-dwellers, Hessen Cassel Branch has been a lifeline for the community since its doors opened in 1972. The library serves as a meeting place for customers of all ages, and is heavily used after school. Hessen Cassel Branch intentionally supports the developmental needs of customers of all ages. From wooden blocks, puppets, and play clothes for children; to classes on art techniques, budgeting, and Allen County history; to an ever-changing collection of print, AV, and electronic materials; we serve a dynamic neighborhood that is rich in cultural and ethnic diversity.
