The Studio at Shawnee is now available for patrons!
The following machines are available for personal projects: Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Autopress, Cricut Brightpad, Prusa Mk4 3D Printer, Laminator, Button Maker, and Janome Sewing Machine. Up to six (6) Library laptops, for checkout, are available with Cricut Design Space and Prusa Slicer, but you are free to bring your own device as well. If you are using a library computer, please bring a personal data storage device (USB drive) to save your work. Open Hours are intended for elementary ages, teens, and adults. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Studio.
Studios have some materials available for purchase for projects, but we highly recommend bringing your own materials for your projects (vinyl, cardstock, blanks, fabric, thread, etc.). 3D printers can only print using the filament provided by the library.
- No registration required. Machines are first-come, first-served.
- All minors (17 and under) who would like to use the Studio at ACPL must have a participation release signed by a parent/guardian on file.
- Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
