Can you build chairs for the three bears? Join us for a fairy-tale STEM challenge!
After reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears children ages 6-11 are invited to put on their thinking caps and design up to three chairs for stuffed bears. We will then use Strawbees to bring their designs to life! But will they comfortably hold the bears? After building children can place weighted bears on their chairs to see if they are just right.
Younger children are welcome to attend but will be provided an alternative building material (such as wooden blocks or Lego Duplos).
Space is limited: Space is limited; register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
