In the late 18th century, a group of Catholic emigrants journeyed from St. Mary's County, Maryland, to the untamed wilderness of Kentucky. Their migration and settlement played a crucial role in shaping the state's development, and today, many Kentuckians can trace their ancestry back to these pioneers. Join Senior Librarian Christina Clary to explore the history of this remarkable group and discover valuable resources for genealogical research.
