If you are in grades 4-6, this program is just for you! Do you have what it takes to be a librarian? This special four-week series will give you a behind-the-scenes look at working in a library!
This is a librarian-in-training experience designed for 4th through 6th graders who are interested in learning what it takes to become a librarian! From "getting the job" to learning the Dewey Decimal system to caring for the collection, participants will learn all sorts of useful skills and get hands-on experience being a librarian. Register for our 4-week session located in downtown Fort Wayne at the Main Branch.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
