Come to the Maker Lab at the Georgetown Library to learn about the Glowforge Laser Printer and to create a custom jigsaw puzzle.
Using the Maker Lab's Glowforge, participants will create a custom jigsaw puzzle using an image on basswood with the Glowforge Design App. Participants may supply a digital image from a scanned file, or use images found on the internet or via the Glowforge Design App. All supplies provided. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 6 participants. This program is intended for children, teens, and adults.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

From the Maker Lab Rules:
No open footwear such as sandals or flip-flops.
No loose or dangling scarves, jewelry, ribbons, or long hair.
11 years and younger must have a responsible caregiver present in the lab with them at all times.

The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service maker lab with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
