Paint your own 3D printed Dungeons & Dragons adventurer! Learn how to use a 3D printer to create awesome miniatures, and then paint a 3D-printed hero that you can use in your own D&D campaigns.
In our program you will learn the process of 3D printing and then paint your own Dungeons and Dragons miniature. Staff will demonstrate the use and operation of a 3D printer, and the tricks that one can use to 3D print miniatures with amazing results. Once the demonstration is done, the program will move over to the meeting room, where primed-and-ready-to-paint 3D printed miniatures are waiting!. Paint your own Dungeons & Dragons adventurer and take it home for your own tabletop campaign! Each workshop will have a brand new miniature to paint. All materials and supplies provided. Program participation is limited to 12.
This program was designed for 6th grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.

The Georgetown branch is home to a full-service maker lab with a large collection of tools that customers can use to create things. The branch features a public fax machine, study rooms, a meeting room, and a popular collection of materials that includes video games.
