Celebrate the contributions of African Americans in the natural world through history and art.
Learn about Dr. George Washington Carver, famous for his contributions to agriculture, and the lesser-known Ralph Brock, first professional African American forester, and then create collage art projects celebrating them. This program will be presented by Marsha Smiley of Spirit Flight, an educational initiative to empower youth by teaching about the contributions of Americans of African Descent.
