Customize and print a Carabiner! We will go over the basics of 3D printing and take you through the process from digital design to finished printed project.
Come to the Maker Lab at the Main Library to learn about the world of 3D printing! Learn about the process and materials involved in 3d printing, and then customize your very own multi-purpose carabiner online in TinkerCAD, a free 3d modeling software. Participants will then learn how to set up their project and 3d print it on Maker Lab's 3D printers and take their functional carabiner home or to adventures! All supplies provided. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 6 participants.
This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must be directly supervised by a responsible parent, guardian, or caregiver while in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program.
