Learn how to use the Cricut Auto Press and pre-cut heat press vinyl to create your own custom Adventure themed Drawstring Backpack!
Come to the Maker Lab at the Pontiac Library to learn about using the Lab's Cricut Auto Press. From the cutter to the press, all the steps required to create a unique Adventure Drawstring Backpack will be demonstrated. Then, set up your own Adventure Drawstring Backpack by layering pre-made heat press vinyl cutouts on a blank and transferring them to your item. All supplies provided. This program is intended for teens, and adults. Limited to 6 participants.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

From the Maker Lab Rules:
No open footwear such as sandals or flip-flops.
No loose or dangling scarves, jewelry, ribbons, or long hair.
11 years and younger must have a responsible caregiver present in the lab with them at all times.

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
