A 90-minute interactive workshop dedicated to human anatomy gesture drawing, a fundamental skill in sketching and illustration. Participants will learn to quickly capture the essence of human form and movement, focusing on skeletal structures, muscle groups, and standard proportions. The workshop will use various anatomical slides as references, aiding in understanding the basic shapes and forms of the human body without delving into intricate details. Designed for artists of all levels, this workshop will focus on capturing movement, form, and the essence of subjects in quick sketches. Participants will learn techniques to improve their observational skills and speed in sketching, essential for both amateur and experienced artists.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
