Participate in a VR experience at your library using ClassVR headsets.
Come in and experience virtual reality at your local library! Using Class VR headsets patrons will learn all about this exciting new technology, and then experience it by journeying into VR themselves. From interacting in a virtual world, to traveling to far off places, experience the frontier of this technology in this guided program! Limited to 16 participants. This program is intended for children, teens, and adults.
Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

From the Maker Lab Rules:
No open footwear such as sandals or flip-flops.
No loose or dangling scarves, jewelry, ribbons, or long hair.
11 years and younger must have a responsible caregiver present in the lab with them at all times.
All technology and machine users must sign a release form. Parents/guardians of minors must co-sign form alongside their child.

The Shawnee Branch boasts quite a large collection of Spanish language materials. Attention all future cooks and restauranteurs: young children love to "cook" in our play kitchen area.
