Learn how to use the Cricut Auto Press and pre-cut heat press vinyl to create your own custom zippered canvas pouch!
Come to the Maker Lab at the Main Library to learn about using the Lab's Cricut Auto Press. From the cutter to the press, all the steps required to create a unique zippered canvas pouch will be demonstrated. Then, set up your own pouch by layering pre-made heat press vinyl cutouts on a blank and transferring them to your item. All supplies provided. This program is intended for teens, and adults. Limited to 8 participants.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

From the Maker Lab Rules:
No open footwear such as sandals or flip-flops.
No loose or dangling scarves, jewelry, ribbons, or long hair.
11 years and younger must have a responsible caregiver present in the lab with them at all times.
All technology and machine users must sign a release form. Parents/guardians of minors must co-sign form alongside their child.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
