People’s Collection Wales (PCW) is a national digital collection that captures, protects and celebrates the diverse histories of Wales and its people, through participation from and collaboration with heritage partners and communities. The PCW programme provides training and support services as well as a free accessible digital platform to publish and preserve material. PCW aims to empower the people to collate, curate and present their own histories which enables different perspectives to be heard and a variety of stories to be told.

Berian Rhys Elias works for the People’s Collection Wales programme, and is based at the National Library of Wales. His role as a Community Engagement Officer is focused on providing training and support for individuals, groups and organisations to document, digitise and share materials that reflect Welsh history and heritage.
