About Emily J. Guerrero and Mexica-Arts: "Storytelling, Fine and Folk arts arts are part of a universal language. Yet the lack of representation for diverse people in the arts continues to be challenging and limits cultural exchanges/appreciation. The arts are a powerful mediums to build bridges of appreciation and understanding for the past, present and future. Mexica-Arts was created to share the treasured traditions that were maintained by the Mexica's Indigenous ancestors through centuries of time. Women’s History month is a perfect time to appreciate Diverse Women in the Arts, and to engage in a hands on art of crepe flower making.”
