Design and print a keychain! We will go over the basics of 3D printing and take you through the process from digital design to finished printed project.
Come to the Maker Lab at the Main Library to learn about designing 3D Models on TinkerCAD Software, using 3D Slicer Software, and printing on a 3D printer. Participants will create a custom keychain online in TinkerCAD, and print it out the Maker Lab's 3D printers. All supplies provided. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 6 participants. This program is recommended for children, teens, and adults.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.

From the Maker Lab Rules:
No open footwear such as sandals or flip-flops.
No loose or dangling scarves, jewelry, ribbons, or long hair.
11 years and younger must have a responsible caregiver present in the lab with them at all times.
All technology and machine users must sign a release form. Parents/guardians of minors must co-sign form alongside their child.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
