Everyone should have an opportunity to learn about computer science!
Coding for fun is an introduction to computer science and uses self-led tutorials over the course of one hour. The goal of the "Hour of Code" tutorials is not to teach everyone to become an expert in computer science, but allows everyone to have fun, improve problem solving skills, logic, reading for understanding, and to be creative. This builds a great foundation for learning computer languages and how to write a code for younger ages. This program is intended for children, teen, and adult ages. Program is limited to 6 participants.
Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
