Upcycle and alter a book into a work of art!

What is an altered book?  An altered book is a form of mixed media artwork that changes a book from its original form into a different form, altering its appearance and/or meaning. Altered books may be as simple as adding a drawing or text to a page, or as complex as creating an intricate book sculpture. Come to this free altered book workshop.  Materials and discarded books provided.  Just bring your ideas and creativity!

Summer SPARK brings amazing events, creative programming, and fantastic prizes to everyone!  Get started at www.acpl.info/spark.  Summer SPARK is generously funded by the Foellinger Foundation, Friends of the Allen County Public Library and the Allen County Public Library Foundation.

Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
