Let’s liven up library sidewalks and parking lots with colorful, large scale art.

Community members of all ages and abilities are invited. Supplies will be provided to create amazing artworks. Wheelchair users can try out our new adaptive equipment from Zot Artz to create their masterpieces.

Summer SPARK brings amazing events, creative programming, and fantastic prizes to everyone!  Get started at www.acpl.info/spark.  Summer SPARK is generously funded by the Foellinger Foundation, Friends of the Allen County Public Library and the Allen County Public Library Foundation.  

Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.

About the library

Pontiac Branch shares a campus with the Fort Wayne Urban League and Brightpoint’s Hanna Creighton Head Start. It has a 2 story playscape for children and artwork on the pillars by Theoplis Smith. Don’t miss the stained glass window that was designed by William L. Lupkin Designs and donated by the building’s architect, Alan R.Grinsfelder. The Pontiac Branch is a community destination for neighborhood kids, organizations & clubs, and those in need of computer access.
