Celebrate Abraham Lincoln’s birthday at The Rolland Center with a Main branch-wide scavenger hunt for all ages—participants win a Lincoln button.
This Main branch-wide self-guided scavenger hunt is available for all ages and can be completed any time on Saturday, February 11, 2023, and Sunday, February 12, 2023! It will begin in The Rolland Center for Lincoln Research and spread throughout the Children’s Department, Teen’s Department, Reader’s Services, and the Genealogy Center of the Main Branch Library! Your task will be to locate reproductions of items from the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection in areas of the Library where you might find resources about our sixteenth president! Scavenger hunt participants will win a Lincoln button.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
