Love asking questions and learning new things? During SCIENCE INVESTIGATORS we’ll cover topics that span the universe and your own backyard.

We will be using Peeps to create colorful slime and fun play-dough! Participants will learn how heat impacts certain substances and how to safely handle the materials. They will also have the opportunity to make these substances with the guidance of the presenter.

This class is intended to cover STEAM topics with librarian led read-alouds, hands-on science experiments, and project creation.

This program is intended for children. Register for all programs online on the Events page, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling the branch. In an effort to be courteous to our presenters, audience members, and waitlisted registrants:

The Woodburn branch is located across the street from a John Deere store, within easy walking distance of the Lutheran Elementary school and the park. The library’s unique hours are specialized to best serve the surrounding town and country-dwellers.
