Build early life skills and foster independence in this Montessori inspired, child-driven play time for children birth to 5.

Play with Purpose carefully designs the child’s environment to encourage independence and concentration with age appropriate toys that promote the Montessori belief that play is a child’s work. The program is child-directed, self-paced, and actively promotes individualized play developed by the child’s natural interests.

This program is intended for children. Register for all programs on our Events page, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling the branch. In an effort to be courteous to our presenters, audience members, and waitlisted registrants:

• Register all attendees: children, adults and caregivers
• Please arrive prior to the program’s start time. Registering for a program will not hold your seat after the program’s designated start time
