Most of us experience stress regularly. When we understand how stress affects our brains and bodies, we can begin to learn techniques to counteract its effects. In one hour, you will learn mindfulness techniques that reduce stress, improve well-being, and help you live the life that you want.
This program will go over how stress affects the brain and body, what mindfulness is, how to easily implement different mindfulness practices into your life, and how these practices will reduce stress levels and promote overall well-being.

The Main Library includes six public meeting rooms, a theater, art gallery, underground parking garage, the Genealogy Center, and the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research. Parking at the main library is free if you have a valid library card. If you do not have a library card, parking costs $1/hour with a maximum charge of $7 for the day. Parking tickets must be taken inside the main library for validation and/or payment.
