We welcome caregivers and children to join the conversation on how different issues impact our community.
Books provide not only a mirror to your life, but also a window. We will use picture books as a conversation starter and a way to explore subjects, cultures and viewpoints in a safe environment with caregivers and children. Each month the group will explore a different topic and how it applies to our community. We will end each session with an activity or craft related to the topic. The library will provide a selection of titles to take home, if the child or adult wishes to explore the topic further. This discussion group is for children in elementary school and their caregivers.
This program is intended for children and their adults. Register for all programs on our Events page, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling the branch. In an effort to be courteous to our presenters, audience members, and waitlisted registrants:
Register all attendees: children, adults and caregivers
Please arrive prior to the program's start time. Registering for a program will not hold your seat after the program's designated start time
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration online or by calling the branch
