The Maker Lab at the Georgetown Branch is open to tweens and teens wanting to use the sewing machines, 3D Printers, Glowforge, and Silhouette Cutter. The Lab offers six PC laptops, Ipads, and Wacom tablets that are available to use in the lab with software including Adobe Creative Cloud, 3D design (Blender, Meshmixer, 123D Design), and much more!
Teens can bring a project from home to work on, create one of the lab's pre-designed projects using a Maker Lab machine, or design a project using the Maker Lab's laptop programs. The Maker Lab Guide will be present the entire time to assist with machine and program help.
Machines are first-come, first-serve. Room capcaity is limited to 8 people. Participants must be 11-18 years old, and must be actively working on a project in order to remain in the lab.
