Grades 6-12: Watch anime, draw manga, and learn about Japanese culture with other fans.

Come and join us for Asian pop-culture games and activities, manga drawing, and of course, watching anime! Gather with like-minded teens and share your passion while learning a new word or phrase in Japanese.

This program is intended for teens. Register for all programs on our Events page, on the ACPL mobile app, or by calling the branch. In an effort to be courteous to our presenters, audience members, and waitlisted registrants:

  • Register all attendees
  • Please arrive prior to the program's start time; registering for a program will not hold your seat after the program's designated start time
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration online or by calling the branch

About the library

The Little Turtle branch was named after Miami chief Little Turtle, who was born near Ft. Wayne. The Little Turtle branch is home to unique circulating collections, including puzzles and games, and the ACPL Seed Library.
