Join us during winter break for a delicious life-size game of Candy Land!

Follow the gumdrop path through the Peppermint Forest, Lollipop Palace and all of the other delicious locations found on the Candy Land game board to reach King Kandy's Castle. Along the way players will complete tasks at each destination to move on to the next. These stations could include licorice-like art projects, a sweet-tooth scavenger hunt, and even a design-your-own Candy Castle! Come to participating locations during library hours for a sweet winter break from December 20th - January 15th. 

Please register for all other programs online, on the ACPL app, or by calling any library location. Call your local branch for group/guest registrations larger than five people. In an effort to be courteous to our presenters, audience members, and wait-listed registrants:

  • Please arrive promptly at the program's start time
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration online

About the library

The Tecumseh branch has been on State Blvd. since 1928, and is a favorite walking destination for the surrounding neighborhoods.  
Parents and children can play and learn together in the colorful Early Literacy active play center, located in the children’s area of this branch
