Mock Newbery Discussion 2022

Those interested in the best new children’s literature will discuss potential award books and engage in lively debate.

The Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC), a division of the American Library Association, annually honors distinguished contributions to the world of children's literature. The Newbery Medal is awarded annually by the American Library Association for the most distinguished American children's book published the previous year using a specific criteria.

Join us virtually via Zoom for a monthly discussion of two titles September through January. Later in January, we will meet to debate and place our votes to determine the Allen County Public Library's Mock Newbery winner and honor books for 2022.
